No account or download history

This website does not require registration. The application does not store submitted Instagram links in a database, file, browser local storage, or download history. It does not save downloaded video files to disk.

How links are processed

When a new resolution is needed, the submitted public link is sent to a third-party media resolution service that locates the available media. That service processes the link under its own privacy policy. This application does not store submitted links or resolved media in a database.

Temporary download information

Download options use encrypted, authenticated tokens containing a media address and an expiration time. They expire after two minutes. A token appears in the download request path; these paths are excluded from operational logs. Resolved media information may also be reused from a short-lived in-memory cache. Video files are not cached.

Request counters and server logs

Request counters help prevent abuse. They never record submitted links, media, or download history. Hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses and technical request data under its own privacy policy. Application request logging is disabled, so no request logs are retained by this application.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

On nowatermarkvideo.com, we use Plausible Analytics to understand visits to our public pages and basic engagement such as time on a page and scroll depth. This integration does not use tracking cookies or browser local storage. We do not install advertising services.

We send only approved public page addresses, with all query parameters and fragments removed. Referrers are reduced to their origin. We disable automatic form, file-download and outbound-link events, and do not send submitted Instagram links, form contents, video titles, media addresses or download tokens to Plausible.

Plausible processes network information including IP address and browser user agent to derive location estimates, device statistics and a daily visitor identifier. Its policy states that raw IP addresses and full user agents are not stored. It stores event and session records used for aggregate reports.
